Growing up in today's society is a challenge accompanied by many pressures. It is increasingly crucial in the formative years of children's lives that they receive adequate guidance. At Pine Harbor Christian Academy (PHCA), we strive to be God's instrument in the development of children. Our purpose is to give children a quality education while training them to bring their lives into a right relat

ionship with God and one another, using the Bible as our standard of truth. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." - Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)

PHCA provides an excellent education, using small class sizes and a nurturing environment to prepare young minds to compete in the 21st century. The Bible is the focal point and basis of our education; it is the students' guide for all learning and personal development. The Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). This organization provides various educational programs and opportunities for both students and staff. They are carefully selected on the basis of education, experience and integrity. An unselfish dedication to children also weighs heavily in the selection process.

🙏 PHCA COMMUNITY, Will you pray for our teachers as they return on Monday? 🙏

As our teachers return for back-to-school professional development days, they are preparing far beyond their classrooms. They are preparing their hearts, minds, lessons, and themselves to pour into the lives of our students.

Please pray that God would:
📚 Give them wisdom as they prepare their classrooms and curriculum.
❤️ Renew their strength and fill them with patience, joy, and compassion.
✨ Use their unique gifts and talents to make a lasting impact on every student.
🙏 Give them discernment to know how to meet each learner where they are.
🌱 Help them intentionally sow into the lives of our students—not only academically, but spiritually and personally.
🛡️ Cover our teachers and students with His protection throughout the school year.

Our teachers have been called for such a time as this. What an incredible privilege it is to partner together in prayer as they prepare to serve, teach, encourage, and point students toward Christ.

Parents, Take a Deep Breath… One Step at a Time!

We know the back-to-school process can feel OVERWHELMING! 😅 Between school supplies, lunches, schedules, forms, and everything else, it can feel like a lot. But remember, parents—you don’t have to do it all at once. Just take one step at a time! 💙

✅ STEP 1: Make sure you’ve gotten your school supplies! Check the school supply list in the PHCA Weekly Newsletter for everything your child needs.

🍎 STEP 2: If your kiddo plans to enjoy catered lunches at school, make sure you order lunches by this Monday, August 24th. Step-by-step instructions are in your email.

📅 STEP 3: Clear those calendars and get ready for Orientation night on Tuesday, September 1st. Review your email for any required forms you may have forgotten.

While the rest of us are relaxing, traveling, and enjoying summer fun, Nick Duppong, PHCA Facilities Manager, has been hard at work! 🔨☀️

He has been coordinating the installation of new carpet in the Kindergarten–2nd Grade wing, along with new flooring for the stage—putting the finishing touches on our gymnasium project! 🏫✨
