St Philip's Preschool

St Philip's Preschool Preschool classes for 3 to 5 year-old children are held September through May St. of Human Services.

Philip’s Preschool provides families in the Hastings area with a preschool program in a warm and nurturing Christian environment. A wide variety of learning experiences are provided to promote the development of each child. Enriching activities are also included to provide for individual spiritual growth through the use of Bible stories, prayers, songs, and lessons in a non-denominational manner.

Each teacher plans educational experiences that relate to a different theme each week. Curriculum is closely aligned with standards expected for kindergarten readiness. A professional staff has been selected based on educational background, early childhood training, teaching experience and sensitivity to the needs of young children . One licensed teacher and one adult classroom assistant work with each group of 16 children. Philip’s Preschool is inspected and licensed on a regular basis by the State of Minnesota Dept.
