Andrea Curlo joins Adams Central as our part time Ag and FFA teacher! Andrea brings 19 years of experience in education, where she has taught Science and AgriScience and worked with students through agricultural education and FFA. Outside of school, Andrea and her husband, Brian, own Aunt Annie’s Flower Farm and Mercantile near Glenvil. Their flower farm has grown into a place where families can enjoy U pick flowers, workshops, summer camps, special events, and hands on learning. Andrea enjoys working in the flower fields, creating new projects, spending time with her family and their dogs, and sharing her passion for agriculture, science, and creativity. We are excited to welcome Andrea to Adams Central! ❤️💙

⚡ An Incredible Start to the School Year! ⚡

What an amazing way to kick off the school year at Adams Central Elementary!

Today, our students had the opportunity to hear from Kevin “Flea” Hueftle, and he brought an incredible message, energy, and enthusiasm to our students. Kevin shared his story and challenged our students to believe in themselves, overcome obstacles, make good choices, and never let challenges define what they can accomplish.

His message was inspiring, engaging, and a great reminder that we all have the ability to overcome adversity and make a positive impact on others.

A huge THANK YOU to Kevin for spending part of his day with our students and helping us start the school year with such a powerful message!

Adams Central Elementary wishes Kevin the very best of luck as he pursues his goal of making the Los Angeles Paralympics and, ultimately, standing on the medal stand! We will be cheering you on every step of the way!

Maegan Brei joins Adams Central as a paraeducator! A 2009 Adams Central graduate, Maegan is excited to return to the school that helped shape her while giving back to the next generation of Patriots. She and her husband, also an AC graduate, have three children, and she enjoys cheering on her kids at their activities, watching Royals baseball and Husker football, and spending time outdoors with her family. Welcome home, Maegan! ❤️💙

Becky Peterson joins Adams Central as a paraeducator! Becky most recently worked at Lackland ISD on Lackland Air Force Base in Texas as a Clinic Aide, where she assisted school nurses and cared for students and staff. Originally from Trumbull, Nebraska, Becky graduated from Doniphan Trumbull. Over the past 15 years, she and her family have lived in several places, including California, Florida, Hawaii, and Texas, as part of her husband's military career. With his retirement from the Navy, they are excited to return to Nebraska and be closer to family. We are excited to welcome Becky back to Nebraska and to the Adams Central family! ❤️💙
