We are sad to share that former HPS staff member David Dwyer passed away on July 30.

David was a custodian in the district for 17 years - spending the majority of that time making Morton Elementary a welcoming place for student learning.

Signage is up and classes have started in the newly renovated Hastings High Health Careers classroom! Thank you to Bryan College of Health Sciences for their donations making it possible - and to our curriculum partners Mary Lanning Healthcare and Central Community College.

CONGRATULATIONS to Hastings High School Assistant Principal Brian Laux on being selected as the Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals Region IV High School Assistant Principal of the Year!

This award recognizes assistant principals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made significant contributions to their schools and to the profession. Recipients are nominated and selected by their peers.
