💚Hello, Longhorn grandparents and loved ones! 🧡

You’re invited to join us for “Picnic with Grands” on September 11th during your student’s regularly scheduled lunch period!
This special time is simply an opportunity to slow down, connect, and enjoy lunch together at school. Guests are welcome to bring lunch from home or pick up a meal from a favorite restaurant to enjoy with their student. You’re also welcome to simply join your student while they enjoy their regular school lunch.
Please note: The cafeteria will be serving meals to students as usual, but meals will not be provided for visiting family members. Also all visitors will need to show a government-issued ID and sign in at the front office. Please plan accordingly, as this will take some time. To make the occasion a little extra special, SRE PTA will provide cookies, water, tea, a fun fill in the blank and Tic-Tac-Toe activity sheet, plus a photo opportunity to help you capture a special memory together. 📸🍪💕
We can’t wait to welcome our Longhorn grandparents and loved ones to campus and celebrate the special people who mean so much to our students! We hope to see you there!

🎊 We ended our 1st week of school with a BANG! 💥

Our Back-to-School Bash was truly one for the books, and the BIGGEST one our school has ever had! 🎉 From 7 bounce houses/water slides, free snow cones, free nachos to a DJ who kept us dancing all evening, games, vendors, and a food truck, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night so special! And an even bigger thank you to our amazing PTA Leaders, volunteers and the parents who showed up early to help us set up, stayed late to help us clean up, and gave their time and energy to make this event possible.

This is what community looks like, and PTA is powered up for an amazing school year! 🚀🧡💚

💚🧡Yesterday was full of ALL the feelings! 🥹

Our Pre-K and Kindergarten families joined us for Tears & Cheers, a morning of coffee, donuts, encouragement, and a few tears as our newest Longhorns get ready to begin their school journey.

Counselor Snyder and our PTA Board welcomed our families, reassured them, and reminded them that their little ones are in wonderful hands here at SRE.
