Our Eagle Family is growing, and we are looking for passionate educators to grow with us! Woodland West School is hiring teachers for Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade.

Esther Murga is an eighth grade student at Woodland West School who enjoys challenging herself, helping others, and building meaningful connections with those around her. Since joining the school in fourth grade, she has appreciated the supportive environment where students and teachers encourage one another to succeed. One of Esther's favorite subjects is algebra. She enjoys the challenge and appreciates being part of the honors program, which helps prepare students for high school. She also enjoys helping classmates understand difficult concepts, believing that working together leads to success.

Outside the classroom, Esther plays volleyball and soccer. She values the opportunity to build friendships and connections with students from another school. Esther believes doing well in school is important because the knowledge and skills students gain today help shape their future. She is interested in pursuing a career as a detective or lawyer because she enjoys solving problems and learning about investigations.

As we get ready for the new school year, please make sure your child comes to school in the proper school uniform and with school-appropriate backpacks, lunchboxes, and refillable water cups. Items should be free of inappropriate language, images, or designs that may distract from learning.
