Get ready for the 2017 South Elgin High School 10th Annual Car Show, That’s right our first Anniversary, sponsored by the SEHS Auto club. We are once again looking for help with advertising and letting everyone know about the support it provides our automotive technology program and students.

For our 10th anniversary we are hoping to break our record of 104 show cars, so please inform as many car enthusiasts as possible to help us achieve our goal.

The show will take place on Saturday, May 13th, 9AM to 2PM, at our high school auto shop 760 East Main St, South Elgin, IL 60177.
Sign your car up for $10.00 or just come by for all the fun, spectators are free to enter. We will have cars of all types, 18 classes with trophies, special fund raising events such as our head to head Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Tear Down Team 2 round exhibition, raffle tickets for excellent prizes, food, and T-shirts for sale don’t miss it! Also two scholarships will be awarded to 2 SEHS students in honor of Mr. Schertz Grandfather.
Finally come see the progress our students have made on our 1937 Chevy Truck that will be participating in the Las Vegas 2017 SEMA show. We are working to be the first public high school to build a project of this caliber to be displayed at the SEMA show. Would love to see you

Huge thank you to Schwartz performance for opening up their doors to some students of ours for a tour. Jeff and Dale were very helpful in allowing us to ask questions and getting us going in the right direction for our build. We are very grateful of the axle link bars and heim joints they donated to our project. Thanks again guys keep up the amazing work
