I'm a certified preschool teacher. My services included but not limited to child care & development, homeschool advocate & assessments.
Hoffman's Treasures is an in-home childcare. I provide Child Care Center services with a relaxed home environment. I provide childhood development through play and investigation. Children learn skills needed for school and life. I have my AAS in Early Childhood Education with a pre-k teaching certificate and am currently working toward my Bachelor's degree and teaching license. I provide services for homeschool families including getting started, advocating, and end of year assessments.
ATTENTION HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES:
Just a reminder that Friday is a park day at Boettler Park and I will be doing assessments. There's a pavilion at the top of the hill by the big playground and that's where I will be set up. I am planning to be there from 11-2, however, if we need more time, I'll stay longer.
Just a reminder
The childcare portion of the business is temporary closed. My homeschool services are still available.

Vivipary is the phenomenon that occurs when the seeds over the surface of a strawberry develop into green shoots.
While vivipary happens frequently in some plants, it only occurs sporadically in others, like in strawberries. In viviparous plants, the seeds will germinate or sprout immediately while still attached to the plant. Viviparous germination in strawberries is uncommon, but when it does happen, all or most of the seeds within the achenes (strawberry seeds) will germinate. Only in rare instances will a single viviparous germination take place.
It is also good to note that viviparous strawberries are still edible, that is, if you are not keeping them to show around!

On my personal page, I have been doing the 30 days of Gratitude. I repost the past days and add the new one. I'm up to date and half way through. What are you grateful for during this time of year?
30 Days of Gratitude
Day 1: I'm grateful for the breath of life.
Day 2: I'm grateful for the gift of love.
Day 3: I'm grateful for the gift of marriage. I love my husband.
Day 4: I'm grateful for the ability to create life and care for those children and others.
Day 5: I'm grateful for parents and grandparents that instilled love, integrity, morals and values, and the love of God into me and so many others.
Day 6: I'm grateful for the honor to be able to serve Holy Communion at our church. It is a blessing in many ways.
Day 7: I'm grateful for the ability to care for God's creatures. We've had so many in our lives. Currently caring for 2 big, energetic Weimaraners, 2 mice, and 8 rats.
Day 8: I'm grateful for our freedom and right to vote for whom we choice/deem fit to serve in our government.
Day 9: I'm grateful for food and shelter, clothing, utilities.
Day 10: I'm grateful for the job opportunities that we've been given.
Day 11: I'm grateful for those who have sacrificed their lives, time and family life to serve and protect not just our country and freedoms but that of others.
Day 12: I'm grateful for choices and changes. Life is full of them.
Day 13: I'm grateful for family time.
Day 14: I'm grateful for reliable transportation.
Day 15: I'm grateful for days off work so I can work at home all day for my family.
With lack of interest and enrollment in the daycare, I will be closing up as of November 10th. This will, hopefully, be a short(ish) shut down. I have accepted a full-time position at my part-time side job.
I will still offer homeschool services.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

We did leave rubbing this week, the letter A, and coloring sugar skulls.
Next week we'll have spiders, pumpkins, corn, and I not sure what else. Maybe some dress up?!
