What a great visit!
A huge THANK YOU to Lieutenant Cliff Hall and Sergeant Little from the Stark County Sheriff's Office Drone Team for visiting our Rock'EM Robotics Summer Camp today!
Our campers were fascinated by the police drone and loved learning how law enforcement uses cutting-edge technology to serve and protect our community. They did an outstanding job explaining how drones assist with search and rescue operations, investigations, emergency response, and more.
Experiences like this help our students see the real-world applications of STEM, robotics, engineering, and technology while inspiring them to explore future careers in these exciting fields.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Stark County Sheriff's Office and their commitment to educating and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Thank you for making Day 3 of camp such a memorable experience for our young engineers!

A huge thank you to the University of Akron Roobotics Team for joining us today at Lake Elementary's Robolympics Summer Robotics Camp!
Our campers were inspired by the team's incredible VEX V5 robots and enjoyed learning about their journey through competitive robotics. The students had the opportunity to see advanced robotics in action while hearing firsthand about the engineering, programming, teamwork, and dedication that go into building successful competition robots.
A special thank you to Riley Jones, Tyler Massoni, and Stella Fiscus for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit our camp, share their experiences, answer questions, and encourage the next generation of engineers and innovators. Their passion for robotics and willingness to mentor young students made a lasting impression on our campers.
We are incredibly grateful to the University of Akron Robotics Team for helping fuel our students' excitement for STEM, innovation, and competitive robotics. Thank you for making today's experience so memorable!
