Our students put their Force and Motion knowledge into action by racing mini soap box derby cars! 🏁🚗💨

Throughout the project, students applied concepts from our Science Process unit by using the Scientific Method to test different setups and determine the fastest design for their cars. From making observations to analyzing results, students combined learning, teamwork, and problem-solving in a hands-on experience they won’t forget!

A huge congratulations to the 4 racers (Emily, Tanner, Beau, and Joey) from our class who qualified for tomorrow’s Top 12 race! We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work and determination. 💙⚡

The best way to wrap up the Food Truck Project was with the real thing — food trucks at the park! 🚚☀️🍔

Students enjoyed great food, wonderful customer service, beautiful weather, and the chance to celebrate all of their hard work from the past month! 🤩

It truly was a fun and memorable way to celebrate creativity and learning! 💙⚡

Our students wrapped up their May Blue Streak Time project in the most delicious way…creating their very own food truck businesses! 🚚🍔🌮

Throughout the month, students researched everything that goes into starting a food truck, created unique themes, logos, and slogans, designed detailed menus, and even constructed impressive 3D models of their trucks.

We are so proud of the creativity, problem solving, and entrepreneurial thinking our students showed throughout this project. The ideas were amazing, and the finished products were even better! 💙⚡

We had lots of friends join us for the final count of kids that have read 30 books this year!! Annnnnd we had one friend read over 100 books this year!!! We celebrated with pizza and popcorn. So incredibly proud of these kids and their hard work. 📚🤓

We also want to give a big shoutout to our fantastic parent volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly. Your time, energy, and support made such a difference, and the trip would not have been nearly as successful without you. Thank you for helping create such a memorable experience for our students! 👏😊

What a WILD day of learning and fun! 🦁🐒🐧 Our 5th graders had an amazing time exploring the animals, exhibits, and adventures at the Akron Zoo for their field trip! So many smiles, memories, and great moments were shared throughout the day. 😁

A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful PTO for providing this field trip free of charge for our students. Your generosity and support helped make this experience extra special for our 5th graders! 🚌💙⚡️🤍

Field Day 2026 couldn’t have been more perfect! These kids left it all out on the field. We are so proud of their teamwork and good sportmanship. 💪🏼 Way to be a Blue Streak, kids! ❤️💙🤍⚡️

We had an amazing day! The weather was beautiful, the kids had fun and we came away with a first place finish in the Field Day events AND tug-of-war! Mrs. Yost and Mrs. Boyes do a fantastic job with this day and we are thankful for all the parent volunteers that were there to help.
