Our LCCS Tiger had a special opportunity to make a new friend! 🐯🫎

As a proud Premier Partner School with Malone University, Lake Center Christian School was excited to help celebrate the arrival of Malone's new mascot, Maxamoose, during RUSH!

RUSH is Malone's campus event where students connect with clubs, organizations, and all the ways to get involved and find community. Our Tiger was joined by a whole crew of mascots from around the area, all there to welcome Maxamoose to the family!

🎶 Congratulations to Lake Center Christian School senior Judah Jacquet!

Judah has been selected for the prestigious Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) All-State Choir, becoming only the second vocal student in Lake Center history to receive this honor. Last year, 2026 graduate Trinity Westfall became the first LCCS student selected.

More than 1,800 vocal students from across Ohio auditioned, with just 120 ultimately selected. Judah will represent Lake Center Christian School at the OMEA State Conference in Columbus, January 27–30, 2027, performing alongside outstanding student musicians from across the state.

Judah was one of six LCCS students who auditioned for OMEA All-State ensembles this year. Aubri Bowling, Corinth Mantel, Holly Sherwood, and Addie Westfall also auditioned for vocal ensembles, while Hailee Gingerich auditioned for percussion.

Congratulations to all six students for their hard work, preparation, and courage in auditioning at such a high level!

A Warm Welcome to our Newest Lake Center Families!

Before the first day of the 2026–2027 school year, Lake Center Christian School hosted the Ice Breaker event for our new students and families.

Starting at a new school can be a lot, so our Parent Ambassadors, administration, and staff were on hand to help — answering questions, introducing families to one another, and giving new students a chance to meet future classmates. Everyone mingled inside and out on the playground, with Kona Ice for all.

We're thankful for the 127 new students who joined the Lake Center family this year. Each one is already such a special part of our community, and we're excited they're here.

Two Milestones, One Community

This morning, we gathered our Kindergarten and Senior parents on the front lawn of our campus for From Little to Launch—a celebration of two beautiful milestones at Lake Center Christian School.

As a K–12 school, we have the unique blessing of coming alongside families at both the beginning and the end of this journey—from that very first drop-off in Kindergarten to graduation day. At Lake Center, we partner with Christian families and churches to raise lifelong learners and servants of Christ, and it was a joy to see our mission reflected in the fellowship shared over Artisan Coffee and refreshments, conversation, prayer, and encouragement.

Our Spiritual Life Director, Pastor Nolan Oakes, reminded us of the importance of every stage of parenthood—the call to embrace each season fully and trust our role in shaping our children's hearts and minds, as arrows sent out into a life lived for the Lord.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us this morning. What a gift it is to walk this journey together, from little to launch!

Say Hello to Our Lake Center Christian School Kindergarteners!

Meet a few of the sweet faces from the LCCS Class of 2039! Our kindergarteners had a wonderful first day today, filled with new friends, big smiles, and lots of fun and learning.

Our prayer is that these little ones will grow not only in knowledge, but also in faith, knowing they are deeply loved by Jesus and that He has a beautiful plan for each of their lives. We look forward to watching these little learners grow and shine!

Friday and today were great days to get outside at Lake Center Christian School!

From our kindergarteners enjoying the playground during orientation to staff tossing the football and drawing alongside students, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the beautiful weather.

A Beautiful Start to Senior Year!

A gorgeous sunrise welcomed the Lake Center Christian School Class of 2027 on their last first day of school! Senior Sunrise is a special LCCS tradition featuring breakfast, student-led worship, prayer, and encouragement grounded in God’s Word.

This year will bring many decisions and new opportunities. We pray our seniors will trust God’s direction, seek His wisdom, and step confidently into the future He has prepared for them.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
