🏗️✨ BUILDING PROGRESS: IT’S STARTING TO FEEL LIKE HOME!

Check out the AMAZING artwork going up outside of our new buildings (Middle/High wing)! Every word represents exactly who we are and what we believe at LOL STEAM School of the Arts!

This isn’t just artwork. It’s a reminder to every family and student who walks through these doors that they were created with gifts, called with purpose, and surrounded by a RAMily committed to helping them become everything God designed them to be.

Our Middle Grade ELA classes are learning one BIG lesson: strong writers don’t just tell, they help readers SEE!

Students began by describing a mystery snack using sensory details before taking on the 🍧 challenge: describe a popsicle using vivid, precise language without ever saying “popsicle!”

The lesson was differentiated across grade levels, increasing expectations for depth, word choice, elaboration, and purposeful use of imagery and multiple uses of figurative language as students progressed from 6th to 8th grade.

Same challenge. Different levels of rigor.

The goal isn’t to write MORE, it’s to write STRONGER.

And, of course…they got to eat the evidence! 😂🍧

OUR WORD OF THE YEAR: INTENTIONALITY

Our first day of school was ALL about being intentional in every way💛🐏

We are blessed to welcome SO many new Rams into our family this year, and before we jumped into academics, we wanted to be intentional about connection, community, and belonging.

Our day was sprinkled with STEAM challenges, team-building activities, and opportunities to meet someone new. And just like that, walls started coming down, conversations started flowing, and the room filled with smiles, laughter, and NEW connections.

Because before we can learn together, we have to know that we belong together.

And that’s the beginning of who we are…
Not just classmates.
Not just a school.
We are RAMILY! 🐏💛

THE WAIT IS OVER. The anticipation is over. Rams, we’re HOME! 🐏

Our hearts are so full of gratitude. To every person who prayed, gave, encouraged, shared, supported, and poured into our school during this journey—THANK YOU. You helped us get here, and we don’t take one bit of it for granted.

4 Buildings. Year 4. ONE Ram Family. ONE BIG GOD.

Our new campus will include:

🏫 Academic Building — Elementary
🏫 Academic Building — Middle & High School
🥁 Band Room
🐏 Rams Commons — Multipurpose Space

And the work is already happening! Our contractors are currently inside transforming these spaces and preparing the academic buildings into individual classrooms designed for our students to learn, create, and grow. 🔨✨

We are still accepting donations as we work to finish preparing and furnishing our new home. Every gift—big or small—helps us get one step closer to opening these doors for our Rams. 💛

There is still work to do, but look at what GOD has already done!

YEAR 4. FOUR BUILDINGS. GOD IS GOOD!
