šŸŽƒ Pumpkin Palooza STEM Quest was a success!

What a fun night of learning, exploring, and spending time together! Our families took on STEM challenges with Hartselle High School engineering students, made some ā€œPumpkin Stewā€ in music, explored our pumpkin patch, and visited grade-level stations for hands-on activities to complete their STEM Quest passports along the way!

And those completed passports came with an extra bit of excitementā€”students were entered into drawings for some fun prizes!

A HUGE thank you to our teachers, staff, Hartselle High School Engineering Department, and everyone who helped make tonight possible. Thank you to our families for showing up, participating, and joining in the fun!

We love opening our doors and sharing the learning happening at FEB! šŸ¾

The pumpkin investigation didnā€™t stop at Pumpkin Palooza! šŸ”

Our firsties put their math skills to work to find out just how many seeds were hiding inside a pumpkin! Each class made a prediction, then grouped their seeds into sets of 10 to count.

After combining all the totals, the answer wasā€¦ 458 seeds!

Hands-on learning makes math even more fun!
