Behind the Canvas is an art studio located in downtown historic Hartselle, Alabama, dedicated to providing art lessons in a fun and professional setting. Our studio offers individual and group art classes for ages 8 to adult. Instruction is geared towards developing artistic skills involving all elements of art including line, shape, forms, space, color and texture. Our class schedule is designed

to accommodate students of a wide range of skill levels and artistic goals. So, whether you are looking to develop advanced technical skills, want to build a portfolio to competitively apply to art competitions and programs, or are simply in the market for a stress-relieving hobby, we’ve got a spot for you! Art workshops and painting parties are available upon request. You can select among our numerous creative options, or we will work with you to bring your ideas to reality. It is a great sadness to have lost this beautiful soul. Many of you shared art classes with this beautiful creative lady and friend. Her smile was contagious, her kindness knew no bounds, and her thirst for creating and sharing art was extraordinary.
