CONGRATULATIONS to our very own, Mr. Blake Sandefer!

Blake submitted an application to perform and be a part of the National FFA Band at the 99th Annual National FFA Convention in Indianapolis back in July and his results are back! He’s in and will be representing Alabama!

Blake is a Junior at HHS and is very active in HHS FFA and our band! He will be performing in Lucas Oil Stadium alongside other high school students from across the United States for each session at National Convention. To our knowledge, he is also the first student from Hartselle to earn this prestigious honor!

A special thank you to Dr. Randall Key for helping in this process!

Thank you to the Morgan County Farmer’s Federation for supporting our students and recognizing all of those who earned a top four finish in the state this year during their annual meeting tonight. We appreciate all you do for Hartselle FFA. Your support makes a difference in the lives of countless students in our county. Congratulations to two of our alumni, Eli Pike and Blaine Johnson, who received scholarships tonight and are both attending Auburn University!

Results are back for National Chapter Award from nationals!

Hartselle FFA has received a National 2 Star rating! ⭐️ ⭐️ We are incredibly proud of our students who pour their heart into our program of activities, community service events, and all related events throughout the year. Their love and dedication to agriculture and Hartselle FFA is what makes this all possible! It doesn’t happen without family, school, and community support. Congratulations to all of our students in our program!

Results are back from Nationals for proficiencies!

Our very own Julian Anton has earned a National Gold Rating for his Nursery Operations Proficiency Application that he submitted. This puts him in the top 10 in the nation for this proficiency category! We are so proud of you and all the hard work you have put into this SAE to receive this prestigious honor!

🌱 Hartselle FFA Students Get Early Start on School Year

Several hardworking Hartselle FFA students spent part of their Saturday morning getting a jumpstart on the new school year — and preparing for a colorful season ahead.

Students planted 100 poinsettias in the school greenhouse, beginning the growing process for the popular holiday plants. They also helped install conduit that will allow power to be run to the program’s new greenhouse, another step forward for Hartselle’s growing agriculture program.

The work comes just days before students return to school, and Hartselle FFA leaders say they are excited to welcome Ag students back for another year of hands-on learning, leadership and agricultural education.

Great work by these students for putting in the time before the first bell even rings!
