I’m bummed that our campaign signs continue to turn up missing. We have now had four of our signs disappear from different areas of the community. I don’t know if it’s someone opposed to us or if they’re taken by people simply being mischievous. We have partial information related to one of the thefts that has been passed onto the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department. It is inappropriate to take one of our signs or any sign related to a campaign. If you have any information on who it may be, as insignificant as you think it is, please let us know or report the information to the Sheriff Department.

If the property stolen has a value of less than $200.00, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 93 days or a fine of not more than $500.00 or 3 times the value of the property stolen, whichever is greater, or both imprisonment and a fine. MCL 750.356(5)

Hello,

I’m Jeff Campbell and a life-long resident of the Hartland Consolidated School District where my family has lived for over 45 years. Following graduation from Hartland High School and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration, I began my law enforcement career as a Police Officer with the City of Wixom. After serving the Wixom community for nearly 6 years, I was hired by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a Special Agent (SA). During my tenure as a DEA SA assigned to the Detroit Field Division, I have worked extensively in the cities of Detroit and Flint. As a DEA SA I have, and continue to lead complex drug trafficking investigations spanning the globe targeting bulk drug traffickers and at times having a direct impact on the Hartland area. I feel that these contributions as a DEA SA have made a positive impact on these various communities and their residents.

Recognizing the value of growing up in the Hartland Consolidated School District, my wife of 14 years and I are raising our three daughters in the District. In addition to our daughters’ academic successes, they excel in soccer, gymnastics, basketball, theater and 4-H. I have had the honor and privilege of coaching my daughters’ tee-ball, basketball and soccer teams through Hartland Area Youth Athletic Association and Hartland United Football Club. Growing up participating with 4-H myself, I’m also thrilled to be able to volunteer as a leader with my daughters’ Hartland based 4-H club. In an effort to support my daughters within their schools, I have initiated and have been leading Hartland Village Elementary “Proud Dads” for the last three years and am currently serving as a Parent Teacher Organization Board Member. In further support of the District, I collaborated with administration and proposed a presentation related to drug use, abuse, and prevention. The presentation was approved and led to spending time with the Hartland High School Senior class, during which I shared my professional experiences and information to those students. The information I provided empowered the students to be able to identify dangerous drugs, situations in which drugs may be present, and how to effectively and safely handle those situations. That skill set will result in demand reduction for their lives and for the communities in which they live.

I would be honored to be elected to the Hartland Consolidated School District School Board and will serve the District with honesty and integrity. I am committed to continue the District’s
legacy of excellence as it continues to grow and be successful.

** My campaign and the platform on which I am running is not endorsed, approved, or sanctioned by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Justice, or the Federal Government
