Congratulations Parker!

It was a great night for Hartland Eagles boys basketball as they got to celebrate a win over a tough Canton team 57-47 and Parker Sundman eclipsed 1000 careers pts. He ended the night with 21 to lead Hartland. John Eichburg had a big night as well with 18 pts.

Hartland DECA Competed at the District 4 Competition today at EMU.

Students competed in Role Play Simulatoons in the areas of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Finance. When the dust had settled - Hartland CTE Students earned :

🏅 49 state qualifiers

🏅 16 test medals

🏅 81 total medals

These students will join approximately 20 Advanced Marketing students as Hartland sends a strong delegation of 70+ students to the State Competition in Detroit this March

2025 DECA CTE Advisory Committee meeting and Pre-District judging is in the books! Topics included the use of AI in business but the remaining need for face to face human communication! Thank you to the Professionals, Alumni DECA Members, Students and Advisors for making today a valuable learning opportunity!

We spent the afternoon hearing from the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship at MSU - a great on-campus group to help MSU students take an idea to implementation.

This evening we heard from local Entrepreneur Andrew Gauthier, Founder of local favorite Groovy Donuts. We also shared a business networking meal with executive mentors, and completed Operation Engage led by DECA State Officers to help crank up the momentum and initiative within our DECA Chapter.

A good day filled with “real world” skill development!

Hartland DECA Students are attending the Michigan DECA State Leadership Summit today at Michigan State University today. First up - a campus tour and discussion of various academic programs, career related clubs and activities, and study abroad opportunities. Thank you Student Tour Leadership at MSU!
