In the summer of 2011 Twisted Tuesdays began at Mad Dawgs Rock N Roll Saloon located on Union Place in Hartford, Connecticut. In January of 2012 the name was changed to Strictly Underground because it better fit what the night had become. Strictly Underground lost one of our own yesterday, John Breakz Ambruso. It brings great sadness to our crew and our community, as John was an amazing friend to so many of us. Whether he was DJing, lugging his gear every week, running nights, working the door, or lending an open ear or hand, he always had a smile on his face and a big hug waiting for you. He will truly be missed. Sending our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. 😢 💔
