Meet our undergraduate research assistant, Elizabeth!

🌼 Elizabeth is from Bristol, CT. She is a senior majoring in Psychology at UConn Hartford.
🧠 Elizabeth is interested in development psychology, clinical mental health counseling, and mental in mothers and children, specifically regulation between the two.
🌟She says that Dr. Gray being amazing is what led her to work in the lab!
🎓 After she graduates, Elizabeth hopes to go into a master’s program for clinical mental health counseling.
👀 A fun fact about Elizabeth is that she has a freckle in her iris!

Meet our newest graduate student, Anna!

🌻Anna is from Normal, Illinois. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Washington University in 2023. Anna is currently a first year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at UConn.
🧠 Anna is interested in examining how exposure to trauma may increase the likelihood of psycho physiological direction in children. She hopes to identify protective factors, such as supportive parent-child relationships and interpersonal emotion regulation, that may prompt resilience following trauma.
🥼 Prior to joining the lab, she was a study coordinator in a developmental neuroscience lab at WashU Medicine, where she examined the impact of divorce and parental conflict on child development.
📚 Outside of the lab, Anna loves going to concerts and music festivals, reading fantasy and fiction books, and doing anything creative/crafty!
🇬🇧 A fun fact about Anna is that she lived in London for a semester abroad!

Welcome to the introductions of our lab members of Gray Child and Family Lab at UConn!

First, we have our lab manager Eunice!

🌸 Eunice is from East Brunswick, New Jersey. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Sciences and minor in Asian American Studies from the University of Connecticut this past May.
🧠 Eunice is interested in the impacts of social, environmental, and cultural factors on youths’ development, mental health, and overall wellbeing.
🥼 Prior to joining the lab, she was an RA in the Behavioral Affective Dysregulation Course and Outcomes (BADCO) Lab and the Biobehavioral Adjustment and Neurodevelopment Lab!
🧁 Outside of the lab she enjoys baking, taking care of her many plants, and reading.
🎵 A fun fact about Eunice is she once ran into the music artist Laufey in a cafe during her vacation in South Korea!

It's been a while but we are back on Facebook! We've moved over to the New England area at UConn Hartford and now go by the Gray Child and Family Lab.
