๐ฟ๐ Help Bring the Goodwin Park Labyrinth to Life! ๐๐ฟ
Weโre excited to share that the Goodwin Park Labyrinth has officially been selected as one of the community projects for Hartford Decides Participatory Budgeting! ๐
The proposal would create a peaceful stone-and-gravel labyrinth in the Wildflower Meadow at Goodwin Parkโa space for walking, reflection, relaxation, meditation, and connection with nature. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has one continuous path with no wrong turns. ๐
This project is about more than just building a feature in the park. Itโs about creating a welcoming community space for quiet reflection, gatherings, wellness activities, and enjoying the beauty of Goodwin Park. ๐ผ๐ณ
Now we need YOUR support to help make it happen!

๐โจ Do-It Day Meets Goodwin Park! โจ๐
As the first hints of fall settle in, weโre sending a huge THANK YOU to the amazing students from Trinity College who helped us kick off the season with purpose and pride!
As part of this yearโs Do-It Day, Trinity volunteers weeded and mulched around the Pond House and along our woodland trails. This is what stewardship looks like. ๐ณโจ๐ช
From all of us here, thank you for showing up, giving back, and making a difference. Have a great semester๐๐ค
Special thanks to Heidi, John, and Holly from Friends of Goodwin Park for updating the FOGP message board for the fall.
