🗣🗣Happy Wednesday wonderful gente!🗣🗣😇
Don’t forget to come to our event TOMORROW from 12:15 to 1:15 to learn more about Daisy Reyes and new book “Learning to be Latino”!

Here’s a little bit about her work:
“For two years, Daisy Verduzco Reyes, an assistant professor at the University of Connecticut, sat quietly in the background during Latino student organization meetings at three different colleges. She listened to determine how students thought and talked about what it meant to be Latino and paid attention to what was discussed, what kinds of events were planned and whether or not the group was political"

••We will provide Peruvian food from Piolin••

Hola mi gente! 🗣🗣☀️
Women’s History Month is an annual celebration during the month of March to commemorate the contributions of women to events in history and and contemporary society. We are going to start the month by recognizing three amazing senior ladies on the LVL E-Board.
Estas mujeres have dedicated themselves to doing everything in their power to bettering this campus and the people around them. They never fail to carry the spirits of those who for fought for them to be where they are now.

Throughout the month we will be highlighting various women who made a difference in our communities and lives.

Slide to the left to see three amazing faces that have and will continue to inspire our world and us individually.
