🌱 One Word. A Year of Growth. 🌱

Miss Larson’s 5th grade students at Humboldt Elementary each chose one word representing an area where they want to grow this year. Throughout the year, they’ll revisit their word through journaling—reflecting on their progress, celebrating what’s going well, and thinking about what they can continue to improve.

What a meaningful way to encourage students to set goals, reflect, and take ownership of their own growth.

We can’t wait to see where their words take them this year! 💙

Registration is open for West Central Fall Clay Shooting Sports Fall Season. Registration closes Sept 7th. Students/guardians interested joining the team are encouraged to reach out to Coach Peterson at [email protected] for details. There is also a Spring Season. Registration and information regarding that season will be communicated in March.

Today, our K–5 classroom teachers and 6–12 math teachers are spending the afternoon learning, collaborating, and strengthening math instruction across West Central.

We’re grateful for educators who continue to grow, ask questions, share ideas, and work together to provide the best learning experiences possible for our students.

Technology Fees - This is a reminder that all 8th through 12th grade students are assessed an annual $50 fee for an issued MacBook Air and all 6th & 7th are assessed an annual $40 fee for an issued MacBook Neo. These fees are used for the repair and maintenance of the devices. A big thanks to everyone who has already paid their fee.

HS Students cannot pickup their MacBook on Tuesday, August 18th without paying the fee. We strongly encourage paying online prior to the 18th in order to keep the handout line moving. And we ask that all student technology fees be paid before Wednesday, August 19th.

If you are paying for multiple kids, return to the URL above and enter the next kid and add them to the cart as well. Once every kid is accounted for, click the Checkout button. REGISTRATION DAY ANNOUNCEMENT: Our parking lot project is complete. Please utilize our high school parking lot for registration day on Monday, August 3rd from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Computers: High School students who have paid their computer fee will be able to pick up their computers on Tuesday, August 18th. Middle School students who have paid their computer fee will get their computers on the first day of school.
