To the Hoo community: University of Virginia has announced an all-University Memorial Service being planned for Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in John Paul Jones Arena.
The service will offer an opportunity to come together as a community to honor the lives of Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis, Jr., and D’Sean Perry, as well as the two students injured in the shooting, Mike Hollins and Marlee Morgan.
The event is open to all and will also be live-streamed at Virginia.edu. We hope you will join us.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, loved ones, and friends of the men lost yesterday and those injured. Our community hurts today.
Our hearts are broken at the loss of three members of our community, Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr., and D’Sean Perry and our two UVA students currently receiving care from our medical center. Our family truly appreciates all the support from all over the country today. 🧡
