On Sunday, members of Kylie’s Cub Air Flight family and the Murray family attended the memorial service at AirVenture to honor Kylie as she was inducted onto the Memorial Wall.
Kylie was a true inspiration to all that met her. Next to family her passion for flying was a close second and she loved to share that passion with everyone. Her passion for flight was evident everyday. Even after a full day of instruction she could be found flying a Cub, capturing the beauty of the countryside, during a quick 30min flight at sunset.
On Sunday evening, Erin—a close friend who shared many evening flights with Kylie—along with Lauren, a recipient of Kylie’s Multi-Engine Rating Scholarship, took to the sky for Kylie’s favorite ritual: flying the Cub at sunset. It was the perfect way to end a day held in her honor.
In the short time that Kylie was with us, she touched the heart and soul of many. She is deeply missed by her family, friends, and especially her flying family at Kylie’s Cub Air Flight.
