We are so grateful to everyone who took time out of their busy morning to start the day with us. 😊 There truly is nothing like bringing our Covenant Prep community together!

The smiles, conversations, connections, and sense of community are what make mornings like this so special. We say it often because it’s absolutely true our Covenant Community is something special! 💙

🎉 Introducing the Bryan Stevenson Class! 🎉

We are so excited to officially introduce the name of our 5th Grade Class : The Bryan Stevenson Class! 💙

As a community, we came together to learn, discuss, and vote on a namesake who would inspire our scholars throughout their time at Covenant Prep. After thoughtful consideration, our community landed on Bryan Stevenson.

A lawyer, social justice advocate, and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, Stevenson has dedicated his life to pursuing justice, challenging inequality, and reminding us of the power of compassion, courage, and perseverance.

We are excited to see our 5th graders grow into the values represented by their class namesake and look forward to all they will accomplish together!

Today, the teachers and staff of Covenant Prep took our morning of professional development and turned it into an opportunity to give back to our community! 🙌🏾

We were happy to spend the morning volunteering at Connecticut Foodshare, working together to help support their important mission of fighting hunger and providing food to those in need.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to step outside the classroom, serve our community, and make a difference together!💙💛

💙 Back-to-School Support 🎒📚

A huge thank you to Virtus for their incredibly generous donation of backpacks and back-to-school supplies for our boys! 🎒✏️📓

As a new school year approaches, this thoughtful donation means so much. These supplies will help our boys feel prepared, confident, and excited as they get ready to head back to the classroom. Sometimes it’s the simplest things: a new backpack, fresh supplies, and knowing that someone believes in you that can make such a meaningful difference. 💙

We are so grateful to Virtus for thinking of our boys and helping them get one step closer to a successful new school year. Your generosity and support truly make an impact 🙌🏾🎒📚

☀️🎉 That’s a wrap on Week 4 of Summer Academy… and an incredible summer! 📚💙

This week was packed with learning, growth, and fun as we wrapped up another fantastic session of Invent the Summer & First Tee Connecticut ⛳ thank you for joining us on campus each week!

We also enjoyed another exciting session with Turbo Spaulding CSCS AthletiCare Inc 💪🏾and loved welcoming Trinity Academy , who stopped by to check in on how some of their newest students have transitioned to Covenant. 💙

While preparing for the high school application process, our 7th and 8th graders participated in mock interviews - a huge THANK YOU to everyone in our community who volunteered their time to conduct interviews, provide feedback and encourage our students! 👏🏾 Our 8th graders also had the exciting opportunity to spend a day at St. Mark's School with alumni Ali (CPS ‘25 & St. Mark’s ‘29).

Our summer interns also wrapped up their four-week experience with guidance from Board Member Mike Haylon, who faithfully spent time with them each week. We were also honored to have Sgt. Michael Chauvin & Kevin Dowd join us to help close out the intern’s college & career exploration program. Thank you all for investing in our students!

Lastly, and most excitingly in the eyes of our students, we capped off the last day with our traditional 8th graders vs. Interns basketball game!

What a fun, busy, and memorable summer! 🌟 Thank you to all of our students, staff, volunteers, and community partners who helped make Summer Academy such a success.

Now it’s time to enjoy the rest of summer… we’ll see everyone back on September 2nd for the first day of school! 🍎✏️🎒
