For Flood Victims, Tiny Homes Make Big Impact After floods in West Virginia destroyed thousands of homes, residents struggled to find housing. Now, high school students in vocational schools are helping by building them small, functional homes.
Hartford Public Schools has a 2 hour delay today.
Hartford Public Schools have early dismissal today due to poor weather conditions.
No School for Hartford today, Tuesday, January 24th due to inclement weather. Stay warm. Be safe.

Great Park Pursuit launches TODAY at Keney Park!
Hope to see AFM family and friends for some fun outdoor activities. Events from 9-3pm. :)

Hope to see you at the AFM event with Lower El and Upper El kids playing ball starting at 4:15pm. Not much longer before Spring Break!

4:00pm- Doors open
4:10pm- Cultural Performances begin in Auditorium
• Scottish Dancing- AFM student: Siggy Bjarnson and local youth group
• Spin ball to music- AFM student: Aden Wilson
• Piano music & singing- AFM siblings: Sophia & Marko Paxi
4:45pm- Viewing of Classroom Countries
5:00pm- Dinner
6:00pm- Doors close
Checklist of items to bring:
• Nut-free dish that represents your family’s culture (main or side dish, or dessert)
• If heated dish or crock pot- please bring extension cord to plug in
• Piece of paper with recipe/ingredients to label your dish
• Serving spoon or utensil for your dish
• Reusable plates and cutlery (helps with the environment ;)
• Reusable water bottle
• Cash or loose change for Upper Elementary fundraiser
• School uniforms to Swap
• OPTIONAL: small drawing of your family’s cultural flag
