Happy to the one and only Bantam! πŸ’™πŸ’›

The story of Trinity's beloved mascot dates back more than 125 years. In 1899, Trustee and alumnus Joseph Buffington, Class of 1875, described Trinity as a proud little bantam in the "collegiate barnyard"β€”spirited, independent, and never intimidated by schools much larger than itself. The nickname stuck, and generations of Bantams have carried that same spirit ever since.
