Rock&Roll Academy Summer Camp is back- now for current grades 5-12. If you’re looking to try something new or better your skills, or just have a great time performing this summer-this is a wonderful opportunity for you! In order to run the camp, we need at least 6 students per week. If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please fill out the interest form. Once we have the required number, we can launch the official signup link for the camp.

Congratulations to Arie on an outstanding vocal performance with the 2025 All Eastern Modern Band! I was fortunate enough to be one of the chaperones for this group in Hartford, Connecticut over spring break. Getting to meet such talented musicians from Maryland to Maine was such an awesome experience and I hope to direct a group like this in upcoming years

Got to present at the NJMEA conference this year about our Rock&Roll Academy program and hopefully inspired other educators to create their own modern band program. Looking forward to next year!

Congrats to Arie, Jemal, and Robbie on an amazing performance with the NJMEA Honors Modern Band! So proud to have our students involved with such a prestigious group. Everyone in the ensemble was so talented and it’s great to see so many educators and students supporting modern band programs like ours!

Congratulations to Jemal, Arie, and Robert for being accepted into this year’s NJMEA Honors Modern Band! They will be performing at this year’s NJMEA Conference in Atlantic City in February.
Also thrilled to announce that Arie auditioned and was accepted into the NAfME Eastern Division Modern Band for this year! She will be performing in Connecticut in April with an ensemble of other students from across the whole upper east coast! Congratulations everyone!
