Shirley Minton, In Loving Memory, July 10th, 1961 - July 14, 2012
Ms. Shirley Minton, age 51 of Elkton passed away on Saturday morning at her home. OCHS Class of 1979
Shirley was born July 10, 1961 in Brownsville, Kentucky daughter of the late Oda and Myrtle Gibson Minton. She was a member of the Longview General Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by three brothers Roger (Brenda) Minton of Elkton, William (Angela) Minton of Beaver Dam, Kentucky and Michael (Marilyn) Minton of Cromwell, Kentucky.

It was the wish of Shirley to be cremated. There will be no public visitation or services at the funeral home.

Claresia Sue Daugherty, 51 of Hartford, OCHS class of 1979, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born Sept. 11, 1960, in Evansville, Ind., to the late Clifford Edward Mason and Betty Cardwell Mason.
She was retired from Beaver Dam Nursing Home and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, a great mom and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Edward Mason and Betty Cardwell Mason Moseley and her step-father, Richard Moseley.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, David Daugherty of Hartford; two sons, Joshua Daugherty of Hartford and Michael Daugherty of Beaver Dam; two brothers, Bruce Mason of Beaver Dam and William Mason and wife Sharon of Cromwell; three sisters, Patricia (P*e Wee) Gaines of Henderson, Melesia Mason of Beaver Dam and Nancy Mason of Smithsville, Kan.; four grandchildren, Kamryn Daugherty, Trey Daugherty, Hudson Buchanan and Aurora Daugherty and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at William L. Danks Funeral home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Rick Beard officiating. Burial will be in Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Claresia Daugherty Fund at Commonwealth Community Bank in Hartford.
