The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Half-Day Program is seeking a Department Head for Music to lead, supervise, and guide the music department. The position is 30 hours per week, M-Th, ten months per year and a total of 155 days.

Another Monday, another choreographer! 🤩

This week, the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts - Half Day welcomes James Marino. Originally from East Hartford, James has toured and worked with artists such as Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani, The Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey, Fergie, Rick Ross, Victoria, Monèt, Illuminate, Nike, Target, A.D.I.D.A.S., Verizon Wireless, and many more.

Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts - Half Day music students hold their own with the professionals opening for the main act at the Hartford Jazz Society's "Women in Jazz" summer series. Three alums (Nairobi Mouning, Zani Meade and Nikki Harris-Stone) and one current student student (Chase Wohl) were part of the Nairobi Mouning Trio.
