🎉💃 Our talented dancers from the "Mi Cultura Dance Team", directed by Ms. Ortiz at Dwight Bellizzi Dual Language, were honored to be invited to perform a beautiful dance at the Connecticut Seal of Biliteracy Celebration! 🌎✨

The event celebrated a record number of Hartford Public Schools students who earned Connecticut’s Seal of Biliteracy on Thursday at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.

We are incredibly proud to have our students represent our school and culture through their amazing performance. ❤️💃🕺

Today, our students and staff at Dwight Bellizzi Dual Language had a wonderful time getting creative outdoors with colorful sidewalk chalk. From drawings and games to inspiring messages and fun designs, our school was filled with creativity, laughter, and school spirit! 🎨😊

Today, the members of the Mi Cultura Dance Team from Dwight Bellizzi Dual Language delighted us with their incredible talent by performing dances to music from different decades. Students and staff enjoyed hits from artists such as Michael Jackson, Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, Selena Quintanilla, Celia Cruz and many more! 🎶💃🪩

Yesterday, Thursday, May 14, our school Dwight Bellizzi Dual Language kicked off the excitement as we started counting down to summer with our Alphabet Countdown to Summer, filled with fun themed days and school spirit activities for students and staff to enjoy together. 📚🎈

This morning we celebrated our May Students of the Month!! 🎉👏

These students were selected for consistently showing our SOAR values and being positive role models throughout the school! 🌟

Congratulations to Ms. Ortiz for being selected as our Teacher of the Month! 🎉 Ms. Ortiz stays after school almost every day to support and lead the Mi Cultura Dance Team. We appreciate her dedication, passion, and commitment to our students and school community! 💃❤️

On Wednesday, our teachers brought the fun with our “Fiesta Fun” theme by wearing bright colors, festive outfits, and celebrating together! 🌮🎉🌺

Teachers also enjoyed a special surprise lunch as a small token of appreciation for all they do each day! 🍽️💛 from Fuego Picante food truck

On Tuesday, our teachers had fun expressing themselves by dressing as their favorite emotion or wearing monochrome outfits! 💙😊🎨

Teachers also stopped by the Main Office to pick up a small token of our appreciation!

It was wonderful to see the creativity, smiles, and school spirit throughout the day!

On Monday, this week it was: "Game On Monday!" ⚾🏐🏈🏀⚽

Our teachers showed their team spirit on Monday by wearing their favorite team gear, jerseys, and athletic wear! 🏈🏀⚽
