Even on minimum wage of $1.00 an hour in 1955 you could still afford this!
House prices from 1955 have gone up 326% and wages have have actually gone down adjusted for inflation. We have significantly less buying power.
But ya those Starbucks and avocado toasts are what’s keeping us poor
