Hartford Public Schools is excited to introduce Rooms, our new parent-to-teacher communication tool! Rooms will be the only platform used for direct parent-to-teacher communication moving forward.

Rooms makes it easier for families to stay connected with teachers and schools by providing classroom updates, announcements, and direct messaging all in one place.

🚌 School Bus Safety Tips for Michigan Drivers

As the school year gets underway, here are a few important reminders for Michigan drivers:

• Stop at least 20 feet from a school bus when its red lights are flashing.
• Never pass a stopped school bus with flashing red lights.
• Slow down and watch for reduced speed limits in school zones before and after school.
• Remember that many school buses are equipped with stop-arm cameras.

📚 Husky Overtime is back at Redwood Elementary! 💚

Our free after-school care program for Redwood students begins Tuesday, September 8 and will be available Monday through Thursday from 3:05–5:30 PM.

Please note that bus transportation is not available and Husky Overtime will not run on half days.

Interested families can scan the QR code on the flyer to apply or stop by the main office!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Back to School Bash last night! 🎉 We had such a great time celebrating and kicking off the new school year together.

A special thank you to all of our amazing vendors and volunteers who helped make the event possible. We truly appreciate your time, support, and hard work!

We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Here’s to an amazing year ahead! 💚🤍
