A very kind family is seeking a nanny(ies) who ideally have experience with autistic children, or who are open to learning. The hours needed are M-F 3-8pm, Saturday full day, Sunday full day(flexible on weekend hours). They are open to one full time nanny, or 2 part time nannies to cover the hours needed. Looking for someone open to a long term commitment. Seeking an engaging, playful, kind nanny who is fun but knows when to be stern, is comfortable with dogs, and willing to work with J on exercises learned in school such as sitting at the table and using the restroom. J is a sweet 7 yr old autistic boy who likes swimming, baths, swinging and sensory play. He dislikes trying new foods and sitting still for a long time. J communicates with some verbal approximations and physical direction. We look forward to hearing from you!

Flexible+Supportive Family Seeking Sitter For 8 Yr Old Autistic Boy+Younger Sister. Cheshire, CT
Seeking a patient, punctual, creative, and fun caregiver with special needs experience or willingness to learn, for an 8 yr-old autistic boy (D) and 5 yr-old neurotypical boy (R). Part time: 3 weekdays 3-6:30 p.m. and one weekend day 11am-3pm. Start date 1/3/22. Looking for a long term commitment. D likes: animals, playing outside, dog parks, farms, robots, stroller walks and some TV. D struggles with: deviating from preferred activities. We need a caregiver who can work on increasing flexibility and expanding interests. D is verbal and has some challenging behaviors. Some ABA is used in the home. Good communication between family and sitter is important. Looking forward to hearing from you!
