Our annual 8th grade BBQ and graduation rehearsal was today - along with the tradition of each student leaving their hand print behind upstairs in the middle school hallway! We will miss them 💜 Hartford Public Schools CT

Dr. K and the UCONN Parasite Squad visited middle school science classes for the last time this school year. Students got to hold nestlings and learned more about the impact of invasive species. One student even got to hold an egg as it started hatching! Hartford Public Schools CT

Breakthrough South staff celebrated our beloved SSO Ortiz yesterday after school - he is retiring and although we are going to miss “Bombero”, we are so excited for him! Some staff even braved the heat and the rain for the Salsa Under the Stars night, which he was the DJ for! Hartford Public Schools CT
