Social Workers near & far. CGA--CT is having a Public Hearing (SB503), extending the current law of lengthy sentences.

Previously UCONN SSW students worked on the policy in 2013, 2023, and now in 2026 to extend the age to 26.

Should you want to testify, please send a message to [email protected] and address the racial disparities in our system by being involved.

No surprise, once behind bars, it is nearly impossible for people with mental health issues to receive treatment.
