Previously UCONN SSW students worked on the policy in 2013, 2023, and now in 2026 to extend the age to 26.

Too often, problems related to mental health are addressed through incarceration.

No surprise, once behind bars, it is nearly impossible for people with mental health issues to receive treatment.

It is a recipe for disaster.
