It's that time again, BPS Fall Book Fair! (October 28th - November 1st) Please click on the link to view our Scholastic Book Fair Homepage. You will find it easy to set up an ewallet for your child to shop. Families will also be able to shop at our family Literacy Night on Tuesday October 29th from 5 to 7pm.

Thank you to the Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene in Montpelier for so graciously providing gloves and scarves to ALL the first grade students at Blackford Primary School. We so appreciate your kindness! 🎄🎅☃️

That dog is definitely grinning! And why wouldn't he be? He and a fellow canine buddy, along with their trainers from Ultimate Canine, stopped by BPS for a visit and a cuddle! According to our friends at BPS, a great time was had by all!

Our teachers are working hard this summer in professional development activities!

Teachers from BPS and BIS attended the Smekens CompCon conference in French Lick earlier this week! After working with the Comprehension Playbook last school year, teachers came to this conference to expand their knowledge of the plays and topics for their grade levels. In addition, they discovered how to effectively schedule an English Language Arts (ELA) block, the power of helping students find their reading voices, while also learning various tips and techniques, and finding the best picture books to teach specific topics. Our teachers are excited to apply what they learned for this upcoming school year!
