A special thank you to Miss Steaks Food Truck for taking the time to come speak to Mrs. Penn’s Mentoring Class! ❤️

Our students were excited to learn all about the food truck business, including what it takes to start, operate, and run a successful food truck. It was such a great opportunity for our students to learn about entrepreneurship and hear firsthand about the hard work that goes into owning a business.

🎣 BOAT CAPTAINS NEEDED! 🎣

We have Mercer County school students who want to compete in bass fishing tournaments but do not have access to a bass boat or an adult boat captain.

Would anyone be willing to serve as a boat captain and help give these student-anglers the opportunity to compete?

Serving as a captain is about much more than driving a boat. It is an opportunity to mentor young anglers, teach responsibility, stewardship, sportsmanship, and help students participate in a sport they love.

If you own a tournament-ready bass boat and would like more information about becoming a boat captain, please send our team page a private message.

Even if you cannot volunteer, please share this post. The right person may be somewhere in your circle!

We truly appreciate you coming in to speak with our students about careers in banking, what loans are, how banks work, and the importance of understanding money and financial responsibility.
