🥊 STRIKING FOR MMA STARTS NEXT WEEK. ⚡

The wait is almost over! Our new Striking for MMA program kicks off Monday, August 31 at American Jiu Jitsu Academy.

Designed for those who want to develop their striking as part of a complete fight game, these classes will focus on building solid fundamentals, technique, movement, combinations, and practical application.

Classes will be open for both beginners and experienced alike. If you’re an athlete. If you’re a competitor. If you’re ready to train. This one is for you.

Classes will be:
🥊 Mondays | 5:30–6:30 PM
🥊 Wednesdays | 6:30–7:30 PM
📍 American Jiu Jitsu Academy | Harrod, OH

🚨 WOMEN’S ONLY JIU-JITSU IS HERE. ⚡

Starting September 12, we’re launching a new weekly class designed specifically for women who want to learn the fundamentals of jiu-jitsu in a focused, supportive environment.

Classes will be:
📅 Saturdays | 10:00–11:00 AM
📍 American Jiu Jitsu Academy | Harrod, OH
🟣 Taught by Lima’s own Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belts, Allie & Jenn

Learn how to move, control, escape, and defend while developing skills that make you more capable both on and off the mats.

Jiu-jitsu will challenge you physically and mentally while helping you build confidence, strength, resilience, and the ability to think under pressure, all while training alongside a community of women who are learning and growing together.

Together, we’ll build confidence, fitness, defense & community.

No experience necessary! Whether you’ve never stepped on a mat before or you’re looking to build on what you already know, you belong here.

What a FANTASTIC night of kids classes! 🥋🔥

Tonight we kicked off a brand new series that we’ll be focusing on throughout the month. We’re excited to slow things down, really hone in on these specific techniques, and watch everyone sharpen the little details week after week. 💪

Consistency + repetition = progress, and we can’t wait to see where this crew is by the end of the month! 👏

What a day in Fort Wayne! 🥋🔥

So much great jiu-jitsu, heart, grit, and teamwork on display today at the FUJI tournament. We couldn’t be more proud of every single one of our athletes who stepped out there and competed.

A huge congratulations and shoutout to Will, Luke, Matthew, Deacon, Janette, Aella, June, and Naomi! 👏🔥 We’re so proud of each of you for stepping onto those mats, putting your jiu-jitsu to work, and representing AJJA.

And a huge shoutout to all of the teammates, coaches, friends, and families who showed up, supported one another, and made today what it was.

We started as teammates, but somewhere along the way, this crew became family. ❤️
