Logan Gomez & Ace Marengo: Two seniors from the engineering pathway at Burrillville High School were given a difficult choice: attend their high school graduation or represent our school at the NLSC one last time and they chose to compete.

For years, they have dedicated countless hours to their academics, technical training, and leadership development. Through long days, late nights, challenges, and sacrifices, they have continuously pushed themselves to grow, succeed, and represent our engineering program with pride. Their determination, work ethic, and passion for what they do have never gone unnoticed.

Choosing to compete on a national stage speaks volumes about their commitment, not only to their future careers, but also to the pathway and community they proudly represent. Their journey reflects the true meaning of perseverance, ambition, and excellence.

We are beyond proud of everything they have accomplished and all that they continue to achieve. No matter the outcome, they have already made Burrillville High School proud by showing what dedication, leadership, and hard work truly look like. Congratulations to both of you, and best of luck at Nationals. Your entire school community is cheering you on every step of the way!! 🤍💙
