Burrillville High School PLTW Engineering Pathway

The new banners came in this week! Very excited to put them up! Let’s go Bronco Engineering and SkillsUSA! So proud of my students!

A huge thank you to Charcuterie Artisan’s in Burrillville RI for welcoming us to their facilities. After a class tour, we delved deeper into AI and business integration. We're looking forward to showcasing this at SkillsUSA Rhode Island state competition in March '26.

The Bronco Engineering program had the pleasure of partnering with Eleanor Slater Hospital - Zambarano Unit and the folks there to build a scarecrow for the annual !!! Senior .gomez6 took lead on this project. He had a team helping him, including , Sean, Ace, Nick, and ._.57. We also had an assist from building supports to keep the chair off the ground! It looks amazing!! The wheels spin, the hand waves, and it has blue lights in the pumpkin head! Congrats to all who took part in this!

We are extremely proud of everything the students accomplished as everyone that was here represents about 2% of the organization. The 2% is approximately 17,000 student competitors an additional 4,000 teachers and advisors, and about 2,000 industry partners. It is highly impressive what these students accomplish.

This also represents our 4th year in a row representing not only Burrillville but also Rhode Island on a national level.

So it’s the first week back and there’s a lot happening. I was talking to my year one students about the resin 3D printers. I was telling them about the issues I was having with them. A Freshman totally schooled me on how to use them and we produced these Star Wars pilots! The detail is unreal! I cannot wait to see what we make this year!!!
