THIS WEEK!!
We had a one-person parade today to send Mr. Grantham off to his induction into the Pittsburg State Athletics Hall of Fame this weekend in style. Congratulations Mr. G!
Today, Jennifer Reed with the Cass County Missouri Historical Society came to talk to our 8th graders about a timely topic - the Sharp-Hopper Log Cabin. With The Log Cabin Festival beginning tomorrow, she shared the history of the cabin and the work by our community to move it and preserve it as a piece of living history. She also asked for the students' help in maintaining the cabin for the future by keeping it clean and discouraging vandalism.
Partnerships like this are what makes our schools & community so great...thanks to Mr. Walters & Mrs. Reed for working together to connect our students with the community!
Congratulations Mr. Grantham!! We're so excited for you!
