Wildcat Families - Online registration is now open for 2026-27 school year! ‼️

Today, you should have received an email with information on registration and residency verification for the upcoming school year. The information is also posted on our website. All current families need to complete the registration/residency forms online by logging into Campus Parent.

Make sure to complete registration and provide your proof of residency by August 7th. If you need help logging into Campus Parent or have related questions, please call our central office at 816-380-2727.

Exciting things are ahead for our Wildcats! 📚💙

We are so excited to receive a $5,400 District Grant from the Harrisonville Public School Foundation to support our Creating a Culture of Reading initiative!

This grant will provide classroom sets of novels, giving students more opportunities to strengthen literacy skills, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

Congratulations to McEowen Elementary Wildcats on receiving a District Grant from the Foundation! The grant, in the amount of $5,400, will fund 24 classroom sets of novels through the "Creating a Culture of Reading" initiative. The goal is to promote literacy growth, meaningful discussion, and a love of reading. The project will help students strengthen comprehension and critical thinking skills while creating engaging shared reading experiences across classrooms. By placing great books into the hands of students, the initiative aims to inspire lifelong readers and support academic success for all learners. An FYI for our !
Beginning with the 2026-27 school year, McEowen Elementary School will officially become McEowen Intermediate School.

At the March 24 meeting, the Board of Education voted unanimously to change the name of McEowen Elementary School to McEowen Intermediate School to better reflect the grade levels of third through fifth grade served at McEowen and help distinguish it from Harrisonville Elementary School, which serves students in kindergarten through second grade.

Families may begin seeing the new name appear on district communications, websites, forms, and signage as updates are made throughout the summer in preparation for the upcoming school year.

We are excited to continue serving students and families at McEowen Intermediate School beginning in August and look forward to another great year of learning and growth.
