Info for school age families!

The Cass County Health Department Back to School Immunization Clinic starts next Monday, August 1st!

The clinic is August 1st-5th & 8th-12th with appointments available from 9:00am-5:30pm on a walk-in basis at our new location 1411 S Commercial St in Harrisonville, MO.

The center has gone through some changes lately, one of them being the new director! I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself.

My name is Jenna Crabbs. I am married to my wonderful husband Kyle and we have two sons, Mason and Levi. Mason graduated Pre-K from Wee Rock in May and will be going to kindergarten next month. Levi is six months old and is in the baby room at Wee Rock.

I have been working at Wee Rock for a few months now, previously in the caterpillar one year old room. I loved getting to work with these kiddos!

Karri came to me after she told us her news of leaving asking if I would be interested in taking the director position. I have over 5 years of management experience and I went to UCM to be an elementary education teacher. Based on my credits, I was able to obtain a Missouri director's certification.

I plan to follow in Karri's steps to maintain a high-quality early childhood learning center. I look forward to working alongside Miranda, the assistant director, to continue to build a welcoming educational facility. As well as building strong relationships with the entire staff and families of Wee Rock.

Our ones classes grew butterflies! They got to watch them grow from tiny caterpillars to butterflies!

This Thursday Shivers snow cone truck will be at the center at 10 am! Snow cones are $3. Please bring money for your child if you would like them to be able to purchase a snow cone! 🍧

Field trips for next week will be the following:
Monday the 6th: Butler Park.
Tuesday the 7th: Harrisonville theater. ($5)
Thursday the 9th: Harrisonville pool ($5)
Also- Shivers snow cone truck will be at the center ($3)
Please see Mr. Tommy for field trip forms and make sure your field trip payment is paid that morning.
( I ask that you not give your children cash to pay for the trips. Please put the payment in an envelope and in our payment box.)

School Age Class will be going to the pool today! The weather is going to be beautiful! Bring your swim gear, we will leave at 11:45!

Summer fun has started at Wee Rock! 😊
Starting June 6th we will have the following activities planned each week! 🍿🍧🏊‍♀️
➡️Tuesdays will be movie day!
Children will enjoy a movie approved by the director along with popcorn! 🎬🍿
➡️Wednesdays will be water day!!
Please make sure your child has a swimsuit, towel, extra shoes that can get wet and sunscreen. 💧🌞
➡️Thursday will be snow cone day! SHIVERS will be coming each week.
Please make sure you bring $3 each week for your child to have a snow cone. 🍧

Due to the weather forecast today, Deanna Rose Farm will be rescheduled. We are so sorry, and will plan a fun day at the center.
