Happy Principal's Month to our FEARLESS LEADER, Mrs. Ashley!!

Thank you, Mrs. Ashley, for the countless hours, energy, and dedication you pour into this school week after week, as well as the encouraging words of LIFE that you speak over our students and staff!
Ashley does the best job of reminding us who we are in Christ, and we couldn't be more grateful to have her as our leader!!

We had an awesome time in Chapel this week! As we continue our study of “Investigating God’s Big Truths,” we had the opportunity to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert as they shared with our students about Noah, the Flood, and the Ark. Bryan and Martha have a very unique hobby; they love to hunt for and discover fossils! They brought some of the fossils they have personally found and used them to help bring the Bible to life for our students. It was such a neat opportunity to see real fossils and learn about fossils that date back to the time of the Great Flood. Thank you so much Bryan and Martha for taking the time to present these amazing discoveries with us!

🎉 FIRST PLACE! 🎉

We are VERY excited to announce that our school float won 1st Place in the Homecoming Parade!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped decorate, set up, brought candy, and make the day so special!

Garrett and Nicole, thank you for driving the trailer and helping make it all happen!

Thank you to all of the moms and Mr. Bill who braved the heat to pass out candy along the parade route! And another HUGE thank you to Miss Kim, Mr. Bill, Megan and Tiffany for all of the time, creativity, hard work, and love they put into bringing our vision of “Jesus Lights the Night” to life!

We are so thankful for our amazing KK/HCS family and the way everyone came together to represent our school and share a little light with our community!

Way to go, KK/HCS! So Proud!

Sincerely,

Ashley Franklin
