Several teachers and groups use social media as a communication outlet for sharing information with parents and patrons. Guidelines for Posting/Commenting on District Social Media
We welcome your comments/posts as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggesting improvements or chiming in on the conversation. This account is moderated and all comments/posts are reviewed by the Harrisonville Schools Communications Department.

2. To ensure exchanges that are informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints and lawful, we will not allow comments that are or include:

- Off Topic. We will delete comments not related to the subject of the page entries.

- Spam. Comments focused on selling a product or service will not be posted.

- Personal Attacks. If you disagree with a post, we'd like to hear from you. We do ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others.

- Illegal. Laws that govern use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc., will be followed.

- Language. Comments including but not limited to: profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be deleted.

- Links to outside websites. We will not allow fans to include links to websites for any purpose.

Please join us in congratulating Austin Hurt, a senior at Harrisonville High School, on being elected SkillsUSA Missouri West Central District Vice President!

Austin is a student in Cass Career Center’s Automotive Technology program, an active SkillsUSA leader, a member of the National Technical Honor Society, and a proud Cass Student Ambassador.

Austin spent the last two days at SPARK (SkillsUSA Missouri District Officer Training Institute), where students develop the leadership, communication, professionalism, and facilitation skills needed to serve their districts and help fellow students grow through SkillsUSA.

We are excited to see Austin take on this leadership role and help lead the SkillsUSA West Central District! Congratulations, Austin! We are cheering you on! 💚🏆

Jayden completed Cass Career Center’s CCC Fire Science Program and CCC EMT Academy and is now serving our community as a firefighter! His journey is a perfect example of how early career training can prepare students for success right out of high school.

Cass Career Center extends sincere gratitude to the City of Peculiar and the Peculiar Police Department for donating two patrol vehicles to the CCC Criminal Justice/CSI Academy!

These vehicles will provide invaluable hands-on learning experiences, helping students develop the skills needed for future careers in law enforcement.

Special thanks to Chief Shepard, Captain Grabmiller, and the Board of Aldermen for investing in our students and the future of criminal justice. Partnerships like these make a lasting impact! đź’š

Red Barn Ranch hosted the annual Cass Career Center Hayride and Bonfire on Tuesday, October 6th. Students from all the CCC Programs got to roast hot dogs and s'mores while enjoying the many activities at Red Barn Ranch.

The event was sponsored by CCC DECA, Teaching Professions at CCC - Educators Rising, Cass Career Center FFA, and Cass Career Center SkillsUSA.

Thank you to Matt Moreland, Red Barn Ranch, and the CCC teachers/staff for organizing and running the event. Prior to the event, Taylor, Marissa, Jaxon, and Wyatt helped set pumpkins in the pumpkin patch for the upcoming weekend. Thank you for coming early.

Miles, a senior from Lone Jack High Lone Jack Middle and High School, is a leader in our CCC Criminal Justice/CSI Academy, a member of SkillsUSA Missouri and National Technical Honor Society, and serves as a CCC Student Ambassador.
