Raise your hand if you're excited to be part of X-Labs 2.0! We had an enthusiastic and inquisitive group last Friday - many with no prior experience engaging with X-Labs - for our faculty panel discussion featuring Samy El-Tawab, Raihan Khan, and Dr. Erica Lewis. JMU X-Labs Executive Director, Connie Frigo, led an open discussion where presenting faculty shared the unexpected emotions, exhilarations, challenges, and pedagogical epiphanies integrated into their X-Labs teaching experience.

We are less than 2️⃣ weeks away from JMU Giving Day (2/27/25)! JMU X-Labs is excited to again be part of this initiative to raise funds for JMU Esports, a vibrant gaming community that brings together nearly 100 students from diverse academic backgrounds to enhance critical thinking, communication, digital literacy, and leadership skills.

💜 Launched in 2021, JMU Esports’ Rainbow Six: Siege team has already won two national championships. As Collegiate Esports continues to gain popularity across the country, it is a top priority for JMU X-Labs to fundraise for student support including travel to competitions.

💛 JMU Giving Day is 24 hours of generosity and JMU Dukes coming together to make a big difference for our students and community.

🗓️ Mark your calendar and stay tuned for our JMU Esports Giving Day program!
