Hey Everyone, Check out this important message from the Harrisonburg Fire Department regarding an ordinance requiring mulch to remain 18 inches away from a combustible structure. This ordinance is being challenged by the Virginia Legislature! Why is this is important? Many fires in large structures were ignited by freshly laid mulch including an apartment fire causing over $500,000 in damage and displacing dozens two years ago. Please take a moment to look at this post and the HFD page to learn more and help make a difference!
