We’re excited to share that our first ever multimedia piece, “Oliver” by Sarah Rush, has been published in Volume 13 of JMURJ!
This piece tells the story of adopting a dog through audio, or more specifically, soundwriting, an approach that treats sound as a form of research, communication, and storytelling. By focusing on voice, pacing, and environmental sound, “Oliver” shows how audio can shape meaning and transform a personal moment into something immersive for any listener.
