Come join us for a free family event on Tuesday, July 11 from 6:30-8:30pm at Bluestone Elementary in Harrisonburg. Award-winning children's author Aida Salazar will lead us bilingually in games and activities as she tells us about one of her books, A Seed in the Sun, which is a fictional story about a girl living during the 1965 migrant farm workers' strike in California. You don't want to miss this fun event, sponsored by Harrisonburg City Public Schools. // Vengan a un evento familiar gratuito el martes 11 de julio de 6:30 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. en la escuela primaria Bluestone. How time flies! Our first cohort of Dual Language students is getting ready to graduate this spring, and yesterday we held a reunion of students, parents, and teachers who were part of their story. // ¡Cómo pasa el tiempo! Nuestro primer grupo de estudiantes en el programa bilingüe se preparan para graduarse esta primavera. Ayer celebramos una reunión de estudiantes, padres y maestros que fueron parte de su historia.
